This article will go through which apps from ScreenCloud Signage (Old Platform - 2015) are no longer available on ScreenCloud Studio (2019). Please note, below is a list of all the apps unsupported on the new platform but can still be used on ScreenCloud Signage including their guides for how to set up the service. The app guides available on ScreenCloud's website provide instructions for both ScreenCloud Studio and Signage.

1. Which apps are no longer available on Studio which existed in Signage?
The following apps are no longer available for the ScreenCloud Studio platform but can continue to be used in ScreenCloud Signage as a native app. Though these can be used in ScreenCloud Studio with a URL or link, please click here for the instructions in Section 2. Some of the mentioned apps below run by copy and pasting the URL into ScreenCloud Signage using the "Add Website" function. For example, websites such as TINT, Ask Condy, Klipfolio, etc. This means you can still add these sites into ScreenCloud Studio.
Please note, some of these apps (e.g. dashboard services such as Cyfe, Klipfolio, etc.) are run through third-party services that are non-affiliated directly with ScreenCloud. 2. How to set up a deprecated app in ScreenCloud Studio using Links
For instructions on how to set up one of these services in ScreenCloud Studio, below we'll walk through how to connect them using a URL or link in ScreenCloud Studio. For this example, we'll use any public link in the "Links" section of your ScreenCloud Studio (New Version - 2019) account.
This is where you can add public websites and URLs into your ScreenCloud account to display on your digital screens. Please note, ScreenCloud Studio also has a feature that also allows you to add dashboards and sites which require a password or authentication to display as an enterprise premium add-on for your account. How to add a deprecated app from Signage to ScreenCloud Studio using a URL:
2.1. To get started with adding a URL or link into your Studio account, log into your account, and visit https://studio.screencloud.com/links.
2.2. Next, click "New Link" from the upper right-hand corner.
2.3. Using the pop-up window, you can enter the URL for your site, give it a name to sort in your account, and set tags or keywords to easily search for it to set to your screens. You can also review frequently asked questions about adding links to ScreenCloud Studio by clicking here.
2.4. Once you're done, select "Add Link" and the site will be added to your "Links" section.
2.5. You can now start displaying your links and websites on your digital screens by scheduling it using Channels, setting it to a Playlist, or independently. You can view ways you can set content on your digital screens using ScreenCloud by clicking here.
3. How can I set up a deprecated app in ScreenCloud Signage?
Microsoft Power BI App* - Please note, this app is available as an enterprise feature on ScreenCloud Studio (New Platform - 2019) with our Secure Sites feature, this is used for displaying dashboards and services which require authentication/private login. Please contact our team for more information on how to set up PowerBi and other secure sites or dashboards.
