Section I: If Necessary, Factory Reset Your Device

Factory resetting your device restores it to its original out-of-the-box state by clearing data and settings. This section is not relevant if you just received a new unopened IAdea device, but if you have a device that has previously been used that you want to reset, there are two ways to factory reset it, either with the manual reset button or selecting the factory reset option in system settings.

Here's how:

1. Manual Factory Reset

1.1. Disconnect the device from it's power source.

1.2. Locate the reset button on the back of the device.

1.3. Insert and hold a push-pin into the 'Reset' button, while reattaching the AC power cord (to start the reset).

2.1. Open your device to the 'Basic Settings' page.

2.2. Click on 'Advanced' in the top right corner.

2.3. Click on 'System'.
