Hello and thank you for visiting our ScreenCloud Help Center. This article will go through how to download and save content to your computer that has been uploaded or managed in your Content Library. A benefit of using ScreenCloud as your digital signage platform is that we do more than just provide you with a place to upload your content but we indefinitely store all of your uploaded images, videos, and media for your reference at any time.
This is useful if you've deleted, misplaced, and can't find a piece of content in your computer or local files. You can download content that is stored within your ScreenCloud account at any time by following the steps below.
Please note before getting started that if you're using any pop-up blockers that you might have trouble downloading the content. We also recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox when navigating ScreenCloud's website, you can learn more about the best browsers to use with ScreenCloud here.
1. Get started by visiting your "Content Library".
2. Mouse over and click on any piece of content you want to save on your computer. Please note, only images, videos, and media you've uploaded to ScreenCloud can be saved. You can't save app configuration files or backup data for services you've set up in your Content Library. Please follow the steps below for saving images and videos to your computer:
i) Images and graphics: once you click on an image you're greeted to a preview and the "Download" button. Click on download which will open a pop-up window. From here, right-click on the image and save it to your computer.
ii) Videos: once you click on a video you're greeted to a preview and the "Download" button. Click on download which will open a pop-up window. From here, navigate to the lower right-hand corner of the video and select the button which appears as three dots in a vertical line. There is an option to "Download" the video from here and clicking this will save the file in your downloads folder on your computer.
Please note, there is currently not an option to bulk download all files from your Content Library onto your computer. Our team is working on developing this enhancement in the near future as an upcoming feature for ScreenCloud digital signage.
