This article will go through how to set up sorting media in your Content Library by chronological order from when it was uploaded or alphabetically based on how content is named.
We understand how important content management is for providing a simple solution to upload, organize, and quickly display content to your digital signage screens. All of your media in ScreenCloud lives in your Content Library and provides you with tools to effortlessly sort your content in minutes. This is useful if you begin to expand your Content Library to incorporate a larger number of local files uploaded, apps, and other media that you're managing in your account.
1. Get started on sorting your content by visiting your Content Library.
2. In the upper-right hand corner next to the search bar, click on the sorter drop-down menu as displayed below.
3. From here you're given four methods on how to automatically sort content that is currently available and will be added moving forward to your Content Library:
i) New: content will display by the newest to oldest that has been added to your library.
ii) Old: content will display by the oldest to newest that has been added to your library.
iii) A → Z: content will display in standard alphabetical order based on how your content is named.
iv) Z → A: content will display in reverse alphabetical order based on how your content is named.
