Hello and thank you for visiting our ScreenCloud Help Center. This article will briefly go through how to get started on using kiosk mode for Windows 10 PC and Intel NUC devices.
Kiosk mode gives you the ability to run a single app above the lock screen on your Windows 10 or Intel NUC device. When the kiosk account signs in, the app will be launched automatically. The person using the kiosk device cannot do anything on the device outside of the kiosk app. This is useful if you want your device to essentially be locked on the ScreenCloud app for displaying digital signage.
It is also beneficial for your Windows 10 or Intel NUC device in cases that it requires a reboot, crashes, or automatically restarts from a system update. This removes the need to manually have to restart the ScreenCloud app each time the device is powered on and off, allowing your digital signage content to run by default.
