Hello and thank you for visiting our ScreenCloud Help Center. This article will review troubleshooting and causes for receiving an error when adding your website into ScreenCloud.
Internal websites should work as long as the device is within the same network where the internal site resides. You can learn more about using internal websites on ScreenCloud by clicking here.
For technical and security reasons we can only support website with https:// or websites with SSL. So any websites with no SSL or has only http:// prefix will not return anything. If you are using the Page Scroll App, you may come across this issue as well if you're using a website without this.
1. The common two scenarios are either receiving an error message that it does not allow access to third-party apps, or the website may be unable to be added. You may on occasion come across an error stating that "This Website doesn't allow access to third-party apps":
2. This is due to the way we serve web pages on ScreenCloud: We pull the page in using an iframe tag. However, there are ways to prevent a page from being shown in an iframe. If you want your page to be shown on ScreenCloud, you need to turn those options off.
For example, if your web server sends the X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN tag, it won't serve the page to us when we request it from the iframe, resulting in the above error.
Please Note: You can also reach out to the web administrator for the website you're trying to add if you do not have control over this.
